Floating control bar not appearing during recording

I am evaluating Debut and have a question.  I set the option to display the floating controls during recording, and also to automatically position the controls outside the recording area.

When I start recording, the app is minimized to my taskbar, but the floating controls are not visible.  When I am done recording, I must click the taskbar icon for Debut to bring up the floating controls, then click the Stop button to complete the recording.

The recording area selected is my browser, which is not maximized and has sufficient space next to it to display the floating control bar.

Is there something else I need to check in order to get the floating controls to remain displayed while recording?

Hi,

Click on Options on the toolbar > Record > Check the option Show Floating Controls During Recording > Click OK.
