wahm2 Posted February 16, 2007 Share Posted February 16, 2007 I am currently using Olympus software and foot pedal but am considering switching to Express Scribe and a different pedal. I do transcription that is sent through email but we are having problems with email so we have been using AOL Instant Messenger. I can sent my client Word files with no problem, but when they send me voice files I can't open them in a way that allows me to use the foot pedal to control it. It just opens up my DSS Player Pro software and plays. I'm wondering if anyone has used AOL IM to download to Express Scribe and if it works properly. Thanks. Guest nchto Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 You need to setup Express Scribe to be the default software to open your audio file type.
