Tripacer
Maybe I'm crazy and this is how the typical video editor employee workflows... butu OMG! please tell me this is a bug or something and NOT a feature??? Cause it's about drove me batshit crazy. It almost renders it useless and very disappointing because it's such a great piece of software otherwise. The start stop play thing is semi fine.. but most of video editors I use allow you to click on the video to get to a contextual menu.. well... as you can guess muscle memory kicks and I have spent the next two minutes trying figure out where I am in my project all over again.. cause there's duplicate edit? What? I should not be able to add filters to clip preview and sequence Preview. That's increases confusion again when you click anywhere on the video screen which would be your natural reaction to then watch the screen bounce here and there.. I'm sorry NCH but this is nuts. borate
New topic, as your issue is unclear. If it's the repositioning bounce in full-screen mode that was addressed in the earlier, dated thread, try the current release. You can file a bug report here. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. In Clip preview mode, clicking and leaving the pointer in the bottom 'control' area seems to stop the bouncing, as in the demo below where Start/End times have been set. (The video shows only the bottom of the full screen.) Clip Preview can be started/stopped via <ctrl-spacebar>. Explain more fully what 'filters' you're referring to? Better still, post a link to a video that illustrates the problem. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view." Untitled.mp4
