a recent topic was not properly answered - the guy was asking if it was poss to

fix the problem with his ipod -

the ipod froze and died when he tried to play mp3 from wavepad.

 

i want to use wavepad to record my voice in mp3 format and then transfer it to my ipod.

if this will duff up my ipod then wavepad is no use to me!!

 

can somebody provide the proper answer?

perhaps you should ask Apple if their iPods support playing files created using the LAME mp3 encoder. we don't know this answer, we are not ipod experts.

 

under no conditions should any software or hardware just "die" from doing something that trivial (i.e. playing an mp3 file), so Apple should be first line of contact here not us.
