djeffries Posted March 24, 2005 Share Posted March 24, 2005 Help. I'm so glad somebody told me about this site !!! I have installed a CD transcription kit from Martel Electronics. It is loaded correctly but they tell me no transcribing equipment will play files burned in "audio". They have to be burned in "data". So, far the only CD's I have gotten have been in audio. I think I wasted my money on this equipment (pedal, software, headphones). Is their info true? Can I do anything to change them from audio to data????? By the way I'm not too computer savvy, so maybe I'm doing something wrong. They play through my headphones but pedal won't respond. Can somebody help? Download the latest version of Express Scribe from the real Express Scribe site (www.nch.com.au/scribe). After you have installed it use the menu option File->Load Audio CD Track. That should do it.
