Bluetooth device not recognised in Crescendo

My bluetooth keyboard device is paired with my Windows 10 laptop, but it's not showing up as a MIDI device in Crescendo.  How do I get it to show up as a device within the software, so that I can do notation from the keyboard?

If your device Bluetooth is recognized by Windows but not by a specific program, you can try the following steps:

  • Make sure that your Bluetooth device is set up correctly. Check that it is turned on, discoverable, and paired with your computer.
  • Check that the Bluetooth device is selected as the default audio device in your program's settings. You can usually find this setting in the program's audio settings or preferences.
  • Restart the program and try connecting to your Bluetooth device again.
  • Restart your computer and try connecting to your Bluetooth device again.
  • If none of the above steps work, try updating the drivers for your Bluetooth device. You can do this through the Device Manager in Windows.
  • If you're still having trouble, try contacting the manufacturer of your Bluetooth device or the program you're trying to connect to for further assistance.
