SlaowPaddle
This is my first post and I'm still a bit new to the software. As the title says, when I do a screen recording of my web browser the dropdowns on the Bookmarks Bar do not show on the recorded video. Is this normal and if so, why would that be? Thanks! n1x1
Hi @SlaowPaddle, Is it possible to share a screenshot showing what exactly is missing?
SlaowPaddle
When you use a browser with a bookmarks bar and click on a folder in the bar, it shows a dropdown of the folder's contents. It's the dropdown of the folder's contents that is not being captured. Not sure how to post an image.
n1x1
You may try the following: Uninstall Debut, then delete 3 folders named "Debut" and 1 named "Components" from these locations: **C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Debut\ **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Debut\ **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components **C:\ProgramData\NCH Software\Debut\ **If you can't find any of the folders, just continue. If you can't find the AppData folder, set Windows to show hidden files and folders with the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files. Install the software again and use your registration code. If the issue is still there you can upload a screenshot showing your results on the following link: https://files.fm/
SlaowPaddle
I figured out that the issue is not with the Debut software. I tried making a screen capture of Firefox using MWSnap and the same thing happens. But when I tried doing the same thing with Chrome it worked fine. It must be a quirk in the Firefox software that's preventing me from capturing the links toolbar drop downs.
