Extract audio only from embedded vimoe video

I want to extract the audio only from an embedded vimeo video. 
I was able to use Prism to scrape the vide, but how do I convert it to audio only?

Yes, you can export only the audio from a video.

 

1. Load your video file in Prism
2. Select .mp3 from the Output Format dropdown list at the bottom of the window
3. Convert the file

It just occurred to me this would be much easier if PRISM or some similar tool would simply allow me to download the audio only from YouTube.

Is this function available in NCH tools?

You can check out Videopad. You can extract audio from the video using that program.

Hi, 

VideoPad does not have the capability to download media from streaming sites.

If you already have the downloaded video file, you can open that file in VideoPad and save the audio clip as a new file.

If you haven't downloaded the video yet, you can use our SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder to record the audio from the streaming site.
