Audio too loud after rendering

I'm using the newest version of VP and I'm noticing that everytime I render a video, the rendered MP4's audio is much louder than it was in the editor itself. Any ideas on how to counteract this?

First thing, check the PC's audio controls, while Videopad is running.

Click the speaker icon at the bottom-right of the window, choose Volume Mixer and maximize ALL the volume sliders.

It's possible that the one for Videopad is lower than the player's volume that's used for the exported file.

For example, this would be the Windows 11 display...
