Your program continuously crashes in the middle of me editing, and deletes hours worth of work. I paid valuable money for this product that continuously puts me at a massive disadvantage.

Just this last time, I went to export in the outro to a video i was editing for 4 and a half hours, and had the program froze upon import - resulting in me losing hours worth of work on a video I was about to upload. It doesn't help I make a revenue on this, and now am losing out on money as well.

I would love a refund on the product, or a staff who cares to fix the many issues with the program. If I had known how neglected the software was before purchase, I wouldn't have ever bought it. This is such a simple fix; make it so the software can AUTO SAVE. THIS IS NOT HARD! BUT THE STAFF HERE ARE LAZY!!!

Nothing should be deleted.  Just Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves.  Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite.  From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the caret to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar.  In case of a crash, the autosave.vpj file is normally saved here... HDD(C:)/(User name)/AppData/Roaming/NCH Software/VideoPad......

Crashing can be caused by out-of-date video drivers or Direct-X.  Check that they are current...

Far from being neglected, the program is under constant improvement.  That doesn't eliminate all bugs, but when confirmed they are quickly addressed.

Use the current version.  For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.
