addressed Sound on videos

Hi.

I have made a movie and now want to add background music to the movie. How should I do it, I have made a mp3 file of the music that I want.

I can't manage to add it as soundtrack, please help me!

Import the audio file.  It will appear under the Audio tab in the bin (top-left).

Place the music on the next highest audio track, by either dragging it to the track from the bin or right-clicking it in the bin and choosing a placement option...

    Or use the ADD button.  Click its arrow for the same placement options.

Thanks, but I can only get the sound file to be either first or last on the movie! I want it to start where the film begins and end where the film ends, like background music.

Overlay the mp4 on the next higher audio track, under existing video and its linked sound (if any).   Left-click, drag the mp4 on the sequence for precise placement.

Here, audio track 1 is the sound for the A/V clip.  Audio track 2 is music.  Adjust its volume with the slider, or via the audio AMPLIFY effect.
