Delete a section of an audio file - How?

I have an audio file and I wish to delete a section of the file.

How do I select the section of the file I want to remove?

How do I then remove it?

Hi!

When you have a clip loaded onto WavePad, you may simply click from the starting point of the section you want to delete, then hold and drag onto the end point of the portion you wish to delete.

Once a section has been selected (like on the first screenshot), simply press "delete" then that selected section will be deleted (shown on the second screenshot).
