No audio during video editing

What version of Videopad is being used?  Try this one...  For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.

Right-click the speaker icon at the bottom-right of the Windows screen image.png  and open the volume mixer.

With Videopad running, confirm that the VP slider is up, and not muted.  image.png

This will display differently on Windows 8/10, but the idea is the same.  Also be sure that the volume slider to the left of the VP audio track isn't turned down, or the track muted.

Did you test the version linked above?

Share a file that has no sound when imported to Videopad.  Someone will check it out.  Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum.  When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."

Upload that file.  11.81 isn't a release seen here or in the VP archives;  must be Steam specific.  Not familiar with their restrictions here.
