Troubleshooting foot pedal issues

I had Express Scribe and this same foot pedal on my previous computer.  I got a new computer, bought Express Scribe again and plugged in my Infinity pedal.  It is not playing or being recognized.  I tried both USB ports.  I tried uninstalling/reinstalling and restarting my computer.  Any suggestions?

Are you using USB 3.0 on the new computer and USB 2.0 on the old one? possible compatibility issue. You also need to check if you have a compatible foot pedal, you can check the list here: http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/scribe/win/inpdev-compatible.html
