addressed Video Pad: Snapshot in preview not capturing correct frame with WEBM source videos

It appears that using the snapshot feature in the preview window is not capturing the correct frame when using WEBM video files. 

The fix is to convert WEBM videos to MP4.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Tested for both clip and sequence capture in beta version 10.84, the snapshots appear to be accurate.

What version of Videopad is being used there?

Please supply a file that does this.  Someone will check it out.  Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum.  When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."

Your mp4 clip was tested a half-dozen times - both clip and preview capture - and the issue couldn't be replicated here, using the beta release.

The frame being shown in preview appeared to be the same as that captured.

Doing some further testing, it looks like the captured WEBM video from Debut was the cause. Recapturing the same video using MP4 now gives me the expected results.

Any findings on your end?
