borate Posted July 15, 2021 Share Posted July 15, 2021 The VPJ is a control file that tells the program what to do and where to find files. It's not playable. Create it by routinely using Save Project Files AS. Give it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. When the VPJ is double-clicked it will load the project exactly as it was in when the file was created. If it cannot find the files it will prompt to resolve each. Do not move or delete the source files until you are certain that the project will never again need to be edited. Exporting is something else. Exports wind up as an mp4, MOV, AVI, etc. file - whichever you choose - and can be viewed in a media player. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
