I lost my recording

Hey can someone out here please help me figure out why I cannot record. I have literally The most simple set up known to a engineer and my program won’t pick up my mic’s recording. I can hear myself though through the headphones and when I speak into the mic!!!! It just won’t record and I’m starting to feel defeated😞

For further diagnosis, kindly send us a screenshot of your computer's system audio settings and the program’s audio settings, and the program’s software version you are currently running. If you are using any third-party hardware (ex. audio interface), kindly let us know which exact model it is as well.
