Using midi keyboard controller to input drum beats?

I can use the midi keyboard controller to input but how do I use it for inputting drum beats?  

Can I use the controller in Beat Maker to do this?

Can I use the controller in Mixpad to do this?

Sadly, the program does not have automatic settings to use the midi as beatmaker input. At the moment on the beat maker, to create the patterns the program will only use the mouse as you need to assign the loudness level of the beat on the panel.
