Need Advice on loading CD's

Hi i'm new this software and would like adivce as to how to upload a CD, which has MP3 files on it. I did upload it, but i couldn't hear anything while it was playing. My speakers work as i could hear the Welcome note.

 

I would also like to know how to put timecodes into my transcription piece as i will mainly be typing for film/tv editors.

with mp3 cds you just copy and paste the files onto your computer using windows explorer, you don't need special software for that.

 

for putting timecodes, wavepad (nch.com.au/wavepad) lets you add bookmark points into the file, and as long as the other person is using wavepad they can access those bookmarks.

 

i am also working on the industry standard BWF and CART extensions to the wave format for the next switch.
