Sean38Z
Hi guys I am new to video editing so I am still in the learning process, let me jump ahead with my problem : I exported a video in MP4 format at 1080p resolution with variable 60 frames; the codec setings are H.265 and 40000 kbps bitrate, this is where I get confused...once I encode the whole video and check its details I see a data rate of 768 kbps , the resolution is correct and so is the audio bitrate but the datarate of the video is even below 1 mbps where normally 1080p video stream at 2 mbps, 1mbps is 1000 kbps so...what am I missing? Jack11223344
HI Sean: This is related to the original source. You are setting the "target bitrate for Average BitRate (ABR) rate control." but the end result is always less than the target. When the source bitrate is low, you will get lower bitrate as well.
