Smelly
Hi I am having trouble getting VideoPad to import .mp4 files. I can see the audio track, but the video never comes up, and when I hit play in clip preview or sequence preview window nothing happens. I don't even see the little green bar over the video track showing me the buffering progress. I just received a brand new Dell XPS running Windows 10. I've tripled checked all of the requirements now and the new machine should be able to handle this program easily. It worked great on my old laptop, but that one is 7 years old and was on its last leg. I bought the XPS because it was listed as one of the best for video editing...womp womp. Any help would be much appreciated.
borate
Use the latest version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Take a minute to share an mp4 file or two that does this and someone here will check it out. Just upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum.
