Paulw
Hi We are just about to start doing work from home and are looking for a decent UK supplier for a USB pedal. I understand the Olympus R-26 pedal doesn't work with the software. Does anyone else have any recommendations and a UK supplier. Cheers Paul. Talk2Me
Try the Philips Model 6212 USB foot pedal. It seems to work well.
raro
I'm tossing up between the two "Professional Transcription Foot Pedals" sold on this site (one by VEC and the other by ... VPE?). There's not enough technical specs listed about the products and trying to contact the company seems impossible. I'm interested to know the size and weight of the two pedals and any other recommendations or comments from people who use either of them. I want something sturdy but it will be travelling with me and small and light would be good. I've used the VPE and found it fine (although I've given up trying to run Express Scribe on a Mac, and downloaded vpedal software, which controls Quicktime ... just in case anyone else finds this useful) Thanks -- appreciate any feedback. Thorsten Dresing
Hi Raro, you may take a look at the small footswitch "f4". It works plug&play with Express Scribe and after a short setting also with other transcription softwares like Transana, f4, Transcriber: http://www.audiotranscription.de/footswitch.htm (made in germany, delivery to europe) Best wishes Thorsten Dresing
