change duration equally for multiple pictures

hi im new to the software, playing around a first question comes up: how do I change the duration of, say 100 pictures without changing every single one by hand?

On the sequence, using standard Windows methods, select (highlight) the pics to be changed, then right-click|CHANGE DURATION in the box under the preview window.

<ctrl-A> selects all.  Holding down <ctrl> selects independent clips.  Selecting the first, then holding down <shift> while clicking the last will select all in the range.
