telelynx Posted May 23, 2006 Share Posted May 23, 2006 We've been using Audio Commander and Alive MP3 for converting VOX (Dialogic ADPCM to MP3). We now need to convert A-Law PCM to MP3, but we need it automated, not from a GUI. Audio Commander and Alive MP3 both have simple command prompt interfaces and can be activated from the Windows scheduler, can WavePad do the job? telelynx Posted May 24, 2006 Author Share Posted May 24, 2006 Strange that in the command line version of WavePad it still prompts you for Input/Output Codec settings etc. making it difficult to automate. Is that the same in the latest version, we're using V2.01 Anyhow I stumbled across Switch V1.05 whilst trying to download the latest version of WavePad and after a little head-scratching it works great I'll update this later and tell you how reliably it's working as it has to process 1000s of file a day on our CTI platform Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
