Strange that in the command line version of WavePad it still prompts you for Input/Output Codec settings etc. making it difficult to automate. Is that the same in the latest version, we're using V2.01 Anyhow I stumbled across Switch V1.05 whilst trying to download the latest version of WavePad and after a little head-scratching it works great I'll update this later and tell you how reliably it's working as it has to process 1000s of file a day on our CTI platform

We've been using Audio Commander and Alive MP3 for converting VOX (Dialogic ADPCM to MP3). We now need to convert A-Law PCM to MP3, but we need it automated, not from a GUI. Audio Commander and Alive MP3 both have simple command prompt interfaces and can be activated from the Windows scheduler, can WavePad do the job?
