Trickytransam
Hi all, New to the forum, and trying to figure out an issue that we are having with the software running on our new PC. We transferred the license to the new machine, and now every time we add videos to the project, Videopad sits and thinks for a long time, then eventually crashes. This software ran fine on a half-baked I7 dual core laptop CPU with 12gb ram, but now on the new tower with windows 10 pro will not work at all. Video is a mix of 2.7K and 1080p, several clips that we are trying to compile. New PC build: Intel I9-9900K 3.6ghz Standard timings (Not overclocked) MSI Motherboard, Intel Z390 chipset LGA 1151 64GB DDR4 2666 Ram 512GB M.2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus primary HDD 2TB media Drive - 7,200rpm Sata 6 MSI NVidia GTX 1070i 8GB video card I made sure that I had the latest video and motherboard drivers - everything is up to date as of today. We tried turning Hardware acceleration on and off - but did not solve our issue. Have any of you ran into issues with the files not loading? Anything you can recommend I can try? Thanks! borate
What file types are being loaded? Is this a existing project, or simply individual files being added that will be creating the project?
Trickytransam
These are all .MP4 files. We are trying to open an existing project.
borate
Three ideas... Clear Unused Cache Files prior to loading the project. OPTIONS|DISK Reinstall VP Best way to troubleshoot: upload and share the project. Someone will check it out.
