Tyler
So here is what happened today. I came home from school and was editing a video and after I exported it as a video file it said "Videopad has crashed" When I reopened it it updated to the current version and then I went to save my video again and it said "Thank you for using the demo version of videopad. Please purchase to continue using it." So I went and entered my verification code I got on January 15th 2018. It said Invalid code, you entered a code for an older version. So now it said my options are to view upgrade pricing or close videopad. I am wondering, am I able to continue using videopad without paying for it again? If not, am I able to downgrade it back to the version I've been using recently?
borate
There is a six-month window for free upgrades. There's no expiration on the version that your purchased. You may be able to install and register a later version - released within the window - but that's not necessary. Reinstall your original version and input the code. The installer should be located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\VideoPad". If you cannot locate it, post again with the version #.
