mec
Express Scribe Pro. The welcome message plays, my earphones are working and plugged in, my foot pedal works but I am getting no sound from audio files. It was working earlier this morning. I have changed no settings. Can anyone help?
Telephony
Hi, From the bottom left corner of the software window, move the Volume bar all the way to the right and re test. If it fails go to Options → Playback menu → Sound Device → select your current default playback device and click OK. IF it fails, load some other audio file to confirm the file is not the issue or load the same file on a different player to confirm you have audio. Regards,
mec
I'd done all that but couldn't understand why it was only the audio files as everything else was playing. Strangely it seems to working again today. Thanks for your help though.
Sheryl T
I'm having the same problem. I can hear the MP3 file on my Mac, but I have no sound in the Express Scribe software. I've used this same Mac laptop and software oodles of times with MP3s with no issues with sound. I'm dumfounded.
LDS
Same issue. I used my Express Scribe with no issue last week now today- no volume. Other things play without issue. I used Express Scribe on my Mac for years without issue but since trying w/ Windows I've had this issue a couple of times. Reboot! ?

LDS
Guys! I got it! There was a little 'channel' box that popped open to the right. Never had it on my Mac, didn't know what it was or why the settings are relevant...still don't, but when I clicked on the number box the sound came on. ??? This will not allow me to insert a screen clip of it. Never mind... after going away and starting the audio over upon my return, again... it does not work. What the what???
