Lou
I have recently downloaded the free WavePad and am extremely happy with it except for one thing. After singing a song and saving it, when I attempt to change the pitch, the sound becomes very garbled. This does not happen when I change both speed and pitch, but I need to change the pitch without changing the speed. Is an upgrade required for this to work? That doesn't appear to be the case, although I would be happy to upgrade if I was certain this feature would work if I did. Can anyone help me? I was so happy to find software that would allow me to change pitch as I need to make learning CDs of song parts that are out of my range (i.e. barbershop tenor). It's frustrating to now find that it doesn't work for me. Thanks in advance for your help. Lou
Regor
I have the same problem, so I think this is a Bug... or a limitation of the algorithm it uses. Changing Speed and Not pitch, vice versa, is not easy I gather. UPDATE: This was fixed in V3.
