Black screen

Using W10 and v4.45 here I have never seen a black screen that's related to use of Videopad.

 

You might check for an updated video driver from your chip or card manufacturer's WEBsite...

http://www.intel.com...detect/graphics

 

If problems arise, roll back to the prior driver via CONTROL PANEL|DEVICE MGR|VIDEO ADAPTERS|<your adapter name>|DRIVERS tab.
