chris@leveragent.net
The Debut/ VideoPad combination looks powerful. I have a really basic application and question: All I want to be able to do is record a Powerpoint presentation via screen capture and simultaneously record the presenter on a webcam. Then, in post processing, I would like to be able to decide in various parts of the video whether the webcam video is small, full screen or invisible. In Debut, it appears that you can do webcam OR screen capture, but not both simultaneously, as you can only choose one in the Debut interface. This seems to be such a common application, that I would be surprised if the system cannot do it. Can the Debut/ VideoPad combination do this? c_major
Yes, you can launch both and do screen capture with Debut and webcam recording with VideoPad.
chris@leveragent.net
How? In Debut, if I begin recording screen capture and then try to go to the webcam screen, the sofrware tells me that the screen capture will stop. If I flip it around and begin recording the webcam, and then try to go to screen capture to tell it to record, the software tells me that the webcam recording will stop. How do I enable both simultaneously?
c_major
You can record from webcam in VideoPad. VideoPad -> Main Toolbar -> Record -> Record Video...
