Normally I'm patient, but...........

I have just started saving my first video project (I'm a relative new comer) and decided to go with the highest resolution, until I realised just how long it would take. So, I restarted at a lower resolution (1920-1080) but even this is a long haul. As I am unable to be at my computer to stop it going to sleep I am wondering just how I save over such a long period. Sorry if this question seems a bit dim, but I am new to Video Pad.

To keep a Windows PC from sleeping open Control Panel|POWER OPTIONS and in the Balanced section click on "change plan settings." Set PUT THE COMPUTER TO SLEEP to "never." Change it back when you're done.

Video editing is resource intensive. You didn't mention your PC's specs: space open on hard drive, CPU, memory, etc.
