videopad freezes after opening a saved project and trying to play it

ive worked with videopad for a bit now, its a pretty good program.

though, ive run into a problem.

ive been editing a video for the past couple of days and everything went well.

until i abandoned that project for a day or two to start and finish a different project.

now while i open the first project, it freezes when i play it.

either it goes out of sync while i play it and then freezes, it plays the video normally, the video freezes but the audio continues,causing videopad to freeze, or as soon as i hit play it freezes.

 

anyone got any helpful advice on this?

There was a bug we found causing freeze in v4.14.

is there another way to fix it?

Please wait for a few days, we are trying to release VP again in next week or so. The bug will be fixed in the new release.

 

Unfortunately there is no workaround for this bug.
