finaddict
Debut Video Capture Pro v 1.94 Windows 7 OS. I am using the option to "Select a desktop rectangle for capture," then "Draw a selector rectangle using mouse" to define the area on my screen that I want to record. The problem is that after clicking on "Select" the selector rectangle (the selected recording area) does NOT remain the area of focus when the mouse is moved. Debut's preview window wants to follow the mouse pointer instead which effectively shifts the recording area in the direction the pointer is moved to. This makes it impossible to multi-task without unintentionally shifting the boundaries of the desired recording window. How do I get Debut to stop following the mouse pointer and to remain focused on the selector rectangle? Thank you.
tomwall
After you click screen capture at the top of the Debut window, make sure the item on the popup "follow mouse cursor" is NOT checked. Also, after clicking "select desktop rectangle to capture", make sure "follow mouse cursor" is NOT checked there either.
