  1. Debut Video Capture Pro v 1.94 Windows 7 OS. I am using the option to "Select a desktop rectangle for capture," then "Draw a selector rectangle using mouse" to define the area on my screen that I want to record. The problem is that after clicking on "Select" the selector rectangle (the selected recording area) does NOT remain the area of focus when the mouse is moved. Debut's preview window wants to follow the mouse pointer instead which effectively shifts the recording area in the direction the pointer is moved to. This makes it impossible to multi-task without unintentionally shifting the boundaries of the desired recording window. How do I get Debut to stop following the mouse pointer and to remain focused on the selector rectangle? Thank you.
  2. Just proceed to select your recording window. The "Debut interface" will automatically move out of your way as you drag the corner of the dashed rectangle across your screen. If your selected window does not end up in the exact position you need it to be in you can adjust it by clicking on and holding the grips at each corner of the dashed rectangle and dragging them into place.
