How to retrieve invoices from a dead laptop? HDD still working

Hi Everyone,

 

I have a dead laptop and I didn't used to backup on Express Invoice on daily basis. I have to retreive data from the old HDD now. How can I do it? Are the invoices, quotes, etc...stored in flat files somewhere? or in registry of Windows?
