bishnu
Hello everyone, I am a great fan of Videopad, I was using it for a while without any issue on my Windows XP laptop. Now I purchased a new laptop having Windows 7 as the screen of my old one blacked out. Videopad is not working on my new one even though it has better hardware configuration than my old one. Videopad is starting very normally, I am able to import media to it then as soon as I drag a picture or a video to the timeline, it stops responding. I am not able to perform any other action then. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Videopad multiple times but no luck so far. I am looking for a solution very badly; please someone help me out. Please let me know if you need any additional details in order to understand my problem. Thank You, Bishnu
bishnu
Finally after trying different options I figured it out!!! In my display setting when it is “True Color (32 bit)”, Videopad is not working, it is freezing. If I change it to “High Color (16 bit)” then it is working fine. I am not sure if this is how it is supposed to behave but I know I have a workaround if I want to use Videopad. I thought of sharing this information just in case anyone else facing similar issue. Is the PC running the latest video driver - from the card maker or manufacturer's WEB site?
