Guest Guest_Mike_*
My IVM system will work for a couple days, then it stops hearing the digits entered by the telephone. I am using it as a property line and it starts hearing digits that people enter randomly or not at all. If I reboot the system it willwork fine again for a while, then I run into the same problem over again. The only solution so far has been to continually reboot the system. I have also tried the IVM with a voice modem instead of the callurl card and I run into the same problem. Which is why I purchased the callurl board, but this did not solve the problem. I have tried using a different computer with either the modem, or voice card and I still have the same problem. I cannot seem to solve this problem. I have Callurl board version A2 and I have windows XP installed. I am using IVM version 3.03. I'm starting to think its a problem with the software! NCHCraig
It sounds like you are getting false DTMF detections (ie hearing invalid numbers). This is controlled by a software system called TAPI (part of windows) and by the drivers of you telephony board. Depending on the card you are using (2/4/8 lines and revision) there is an updated driver 2.4 on CallURLs website that does resolve some DTMF detection problems. Please note you need to uninstall your old drivers before installing the new ones.
