academic.consulting
Hi all, We have a team of transcribers that all use different settings in Express Scribe. When they move from one workstation to another, I would like them to be able to keep their settings. On this website it says that settings are stored in: c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\nch\scribe\settings.ini. None of the PC's in our office have this file. Is it located somewhere else, or perhaps settings are stored in the registry? We are all using the latest verions (4.35). Can anyone shed some light on this? Damian Lettie
On this website it says that settings are stored in: c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\nch\scribe\settings.ini. Sorry, but that information is out of date. Is it located somewhere else, or perhaps settings are stored in the registry? Yes, application-wide settings are stored in the registry. We are all using the latest verions (4.35). It's unrelated to what you're asking, but v4.36 is now available.
