scribefan
we commonly use F3 key to manage automatic insertion in Microsoft Word. Problem is that, as Express Scribe is using F3 as a control key for "fast reading", this is taking precedence, ending with a fast reading of the audio file (not expected) and not by an automatic insertion in Word (expected). My question: is there a way to deactivate F3 key in Express scribe (as we don't require the "fast reading" feature)? or subsequently is there another key or combination of keys to use in Microsoft Word to manage automatic insertion? Any idea? Thanks

You can remove or remap the Express Scribe system-wide hot-key assignments under Options -> Control.

scribefan
thanks for your note. I also found a work around which is to use CTRL Alt V as it is as well enabling auto insert in Microsoft Word)
