meg
Hi, I downloaded the free software to see how it would go in converting one of my wma files to mp3 All went ok, I left the encoder on default settings. But I notice that the file size of the mp3 is still the same as the old wma, 62,371kb. How come? I thought it should compress it? Thanks Meg
nchtj
wma IS a compressed format, comparable to MP3. PCM wav is not compressed if that's what you confused it with. What happens when you change the settings around, does the file size change?
