Hi, I downloaded the free software to see how it would go in converting one of my wma files to mp3 All went ok, I left the encoder on default settings. But I notice that the file size of the mp3 is still the same as the old wma, 62,371kb. How come? I thought it should compress it? Thanks Meg

Hi. I converted a wma audio file into mp3. I just used the default settings on the encoder. I notice the file size is still the same, 52,056 after converting. Why is this? Doesn't it compress? Meg
