Variables Lost

Using the eval version of IVM, in the help files connecting to telephone key systems or PBXs,

 

mailboxno varaible does not hold value.

 

I have tried setting the maximum digits to 16 and placing 1111111111111111

in the pbx string but still nothing. PBX is sending the follow-on digits and IVM displays that the caller pressed the .ext but it will not propegate in the mailboxno variable.

 

why?

Please clarify what you are doing.

 

Is the mailboxno an entered varaible via an OGM? Where are you using it (you note pbx string)
