AndrewFisher
I have just registered my Switch Software and just as I was about to back-up the software to CD there was a power-cut. I am unsure as to witch files are essential to backup incase change of Operating System or problem with computer in the future. I have searched for Switch files on my hard drive but there seems to be so many. Please can you tell me which files I need to backup.....Thanks. Robbie Elder
Hi fish99, If you look in "C:\Program Files\NCH Swift Sound\Switch" there should be setup .exe file. You should keep a copy of that incase any future versions of Switch supercede your current License. Also keep a copy of the details you entered into Switch to register it which should have also been emailed to you! That's all you should need
Vlip3
Hi fish99, If you look in "C:\Program Files\NCH Swift Sound\Switch" there should be setup .exe file. Also keep a copy of the details you entered into Switch to register it which should have also been emailed to you! That's all you should need I don't have a setup.exe file in that folder! I have only switch.exe and ininst.exe! I am really pissed because to me, not being able to download a previous version is unethical and meant only to FORCE you to upgrade (thereby increasing their revenue). I don't want to upgrade but cannot find the setup.exe file anywhere. Is there not any way to get a previous version??
Guest MichaelJee
Hi, When did you guys download the application? This will help me figure out which version you had. They you could search the WWW for it. There are many places that have kept older copies. Keep in mine, the very first email we sent you, with the serial, implored you to save the install .exe file and the registration details. PM me if you want Cheers M

PM me if you want Cheers M I have version 1.42. I know the original e-mail told me to save a copy but I think it was called simply setup.exe which does not identify what it is. I think it must have gotten overwritten by another setup.exe at some point. Besides, that was about three builds ago (I build my own PCs - this is why I'm looking for it right now; I'm in the middle of a new build). Anyway, I have mixpad, wavepad, expressRip and expressBurn. I just seem to have lost Switch (I think for the reason stated above). Anyway, any help would be appreciated. I have done a google search but came across mostly sites with cracks. I've learned to stay away from those sites like the plague since it seems most are fronts for porno sites. I quit searching as soon as I saw that. Thanks again. Guest MichaelJee
Hi, Often they’re porno fronts for hack sites The install file would have certainly been called “switchsetup.exe” PM me if you still cannot find it. Cheers M
