Moving HourGaurd to new Machine

I have over a years worth of time reporting on my old machine and need to meove it over to my new machine. I can not seem to find the files associated with the application.

if anyone else is wondering, you just need to move your user files over. after you install hour guard on your new machine...

Files are located here:

 

Windows 2000/XP - c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Software\HourGuard

VISTA - c:\ProgramData\NCH Software\HourGuard

 

and besides what the post on Tibrew says, HourGuard is a supported product and even though it is free we continue to fix bugs and add in new suggestions and release new versions.

Where are the files in Windows 7? I want to add them to a daily backup schedule.

 

I see daily .csv files in the following location, but when I open them, they sometimes contain only one line. Are these the only data files?

I think I have it partially figured out. The files located here each contain a day's entries.

To compile a report, HourGuard reads in each of those files.

That's it! It's the same as for Vista, but for some reason, I didn't see the ProgramData folder when I looked the first time.

 

I'll have to add that to my backup, too.
