I have the VEC foot pedal and it works fine when I use Express Scribe in Windows XP. But it will not work running Leopard and Express Scribe 4.30 on my Mac. The Mac sees the pedal but no go. The set up wizard does not recognize the pedal either. I know other people who are running this pedal on Macs so maybe it's something in my configuration that's preventing it but I don't have a clue what it might be. Please help.

I'm using Leopard and my VEC foot pedal is not working with the latest version of Express Scribe for Mac. I'm told it may work with Version 4.26 but I can't find a link for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have written to NCH technical support a couple of times last month on this issue and got no reply and I have purchased tech support! Maybe there is another solution and I should return this foot pedal. Any thoughts appreciated.

I have a macbook pro and the lastest OSX version of Express Scribe. I am using the VPE footpedal. After I am transcribing for a while, from a few minutes on, the sound progressively distorts. When I restart Espress Scribe the distortion stops .... for a while. Would appreciate any help. Ed
