The dss files from an Olympus digital recorder work fine on my desktop and fine on my daughter's laptop, however, I still come up with 0 content on my laptop. I have unstalled and reinstalled different versions, installed the extra component and still come up with 0 content. Please advise what else can be done. Thanks Barbara

Yes, I have Windows XP Professional on my laptop and the same on my desktop. I'm still getting nowhere with this. I will definitely report back if I do figure it out. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I'm glad some of you have been able to fix it. Barbara P.S. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I downloaded the link in the previous post but it did not solve my problem. I can download the voice files on my desktop and they work fine but when I download to my laptop the files still come out zero. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the above version, as well as earlier versions and still nothing works. I love Express Scribe and would like to use it on my laptop so I can work and travel.
