I crop a video, but the background checkered pattern still fills the screen with the cropped portion small. Why does the crop not fill the screen?

I want to re-use many of the images (text files) in previous projects in a new project (I create a new church worship project & video each Saturday) and I want to re-use many of the text images I have created (such as "Lord's Prayer" text for the clip). Can I access these from a previous project and include them in the new project for the week? Would they be part of the project template?

I am using a 'Non-commercial home use only' version of VideoPad. I have captured a number of images from different video clips taken with my iPhone. VideoPad has been 'processing' the images for almost an hour now. Why does it take so long? Have I done something wrong? Thanks!

I import an audio file and it shows up in Audio Track 1. I then start to import images. Is there an automatic feature that will set the duration of the images to synchronize with the length of the audio file? If I have a song 120 seconds and load 10 images they would each have a duration of 12 seconds. If I load 20 images they would each be 6 seconds long. It would be a lot easier than trying to click and drag each image to fit. I know there is an option to set image length but you have to set it before you load images. Thanks

Hi A very annoying issue. I edit my photographs in photoshop or any similar program so that I get jpegs looking the way I want them. Then I import them into VideoPad and they instantly change appearance. The saturation and colour balance is totally different. Can you explain this to me? Thank you

Whoa! I have a video of a narrator. I want to add the still images from her Powerpoint by dissolving back and forth between her and the slides. In order to keep the original video synchronized I kept it as Track 1, but separated it from the audio. That way, I can split it into video clips if needed for transitions back and forth. But, each time I add a still to video Track 2, everything stays put nicely. But I have to change the "speed" of each image so it appears for the right length of time. When I do change it to, say 30 percent speed, everything else, including the audio track (which is split from the countdown beeps) moves waaay around, like minutes apart on each track. As I add images, I've tried to pin the new ones down by keeping the editing cursor where I want the new clip to start. So, it starts at the right spot, but when I adjust its duration, everything else moves way out of place. The way I've inserted each image, it's in Video Track 2, above its proper place in the video of the narration. On playback, it cuts to the image just fine and there's plenty of space for each one to "grow." I change each image's "speed" so it lasts the right duration while the narrator's talking about it. There's still space left after changing the duration. But changing the speed moves everything else around, too, seemingly randomly. They are far out of place, especially the video and audio of the narrator. That's about 45 minutes total, moves together though they are split from one another, but leave minutes of blank space between the countdown and the start. The resulting jumble is way too hard to re-place in the timeline each time I add something. There will be about 50 slides when the whole thing is done! What am I missing? Thanks! PS I tried to change the subject line of this post, but it won't let me. It should say: "Changing duration of stills above continuous video moves everything else around"

Hello - I am trying to apply a mask to an area on a clip. What I am doing is trying to make a gravestone clipart appear to rise out of the ground in a certain location on the clip. I have inserted the clip to the area, scaled it down, positioned it where I would like to it to start, and then add a mask to the area I want it to rise up in. It works okay, however, there is a duplicate image inthe middle of the screen. I have checked to make sure I did not add 2 images and I have not. When I run the animation, the area that is masked runs, but runs twice, and the image inthe middle just stays there. Here are the pictures: And the affects screen: If I delete the mask, the image in the middle goes away. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
