Viewers on other computers hear audio but there's no video

Hi. I've created a video comprised of a series of photos (like a slide show) and music. I clicked SAVE MOVIE and chose "Computer/Data" as the output and .avi as the File Format.

 

It created a 27MB file and when I view it it's fine. I copied the .avi file to a folder on our network so others can view it. However, when they open it (on other computers) they hear the audio but there's no video.

 

What did I do wrong?

 

I tried it from another computer myself and got a "error downloading codec" message before the video began to play. Sure enough, there was NO VIDEO but the audio sounds fine.

This would seem to be a codec problem. When you created your movie by clicking the "Computer/Data" option you can choose your output format. It doesn't have to be avi. By clicking the down arrow on the end of the File format box you can choose different formats. Try outputting it in wmv format. Similarly clicking the "Encoder Options" button will enable you to change the encoder settings.
