  1. I had a crash when enabling recording of speaker output (windows 7 Pro) but fortunately for me, after a forced reboot, Debut has been behaving. I would suggest that, if all else fails, do an uninstall, reboot the PC, then do a reinstall; this assumes you have the current version or your backup available and your registration email at hand.
  2. Right after I registered the debut software, the application offered to create a backup, including registration info. It asked me where to put the backup, I inserted my USB flash drive, but that didn't appear in the list because it wasn't in the enumeration when the window opened. In navigating to locate the drive, I closed the browse for a folder window and that also killed the 'back up'. Now I can't figure out how to initiate the backup. I would like to have a backup of the currently installed version so I could restore it, if necessary.

    Call routing by CID

Seems as if the delay could get ugly if one built a few dozen or a few hundred of these OGM's and looped thru them. As a newbie lurking around - I wonder if the IVM supports sending a shell statement and can accept a return text value?
  4. Didn't see a public answer to this, hope you got hooked up with the right information. For your purposes, a good resource would be the sdk overview at http://www.nch.com.au/talk/sdk.html
  5. Hi, Extensions are how many telephones/handsets (virtual or real) that you have. This represents how many different locations/places/stations can access the PBX. Concurrent *internal* calls (extension to extension) are limited mostly by the processing power available to the server to handle the codec translations and the general UDP traffic required to process the calls. Concurrent *external* calls equal the number of phone lines (virtual or POTS or SIP ports, or whatever) that you have available. So - if you have an incoming call from beyond your PBX - that's line one. If you want to place that person on hold and call someone on a local extension - still one line. If you want to call someone beyond your local PBX, then that would require a second line. If you have someone (external call) on hold, are placing an external call, and you want to have callers able to call into your PBX at the same time - then you need a 3rd line, and so forth. Hope this helps! Good luck, Gordon
